Some inclusions in a stone are acceptable but if the stone is heavily included, that will have a major impact on the value of the stone. "Clean" stones are preferred because internal flaws can affect a gemstone's appearance and stability.

When purchasing gemstones, be aware that the stone's clarity is worth about 20-30% of the stone's total value.
